Kenneth Paul Tan spoke via Zoom at a dialogue on public morality and moral panic, organized by student activists at the National University of Singapore's Tembusu College. He explained moral and sexual panics in terms of the rising tensions between neoliberal globalization and authoritarian populism, and what they imply for the scope of student activism today.
